AMI strives for spiritual transformation through academic excellence, dynamic Servant Leadership, discipleship, and evangelism, all of which are based on the Holy Scripture.
To establish the knowledge of the students of God’s inspired word, to teach the content of the Scripture in excellency and how to apply it in today’s world. Effective preaching, teaching, and presentation of God’s word is essential to the ministry. Therefore, the mission of AMI is to equip and produce pastors, teachers, evangelists, and church leaders who strive to understand the Scripture and demonstrate it by applying and communicating the truth in their day-to-day lives (2 Timothy 3:16-17).
To encourage the students to grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ, and to imitate Him in their everyday lives. Every child of God should understand the importance of knowledge and spiritual growth; faith must be expressed honestly in every aspect of every aspect of every life (2 Peter 3:18)
To encourage the students to demonstrate academic excellence in the seminary curriculum: biblical, theological, historical, mission, and evangelistic teaching and learning throughout the virtual academic program. The students must do their best to present themselves to God as one approved worker who does not need to be ashamed and who correctly handles the word of truth. Thus, the virtual seminary is a learning environment wherein the professor and the facilitator teach, nurture and encourage the students to examine or explore the Bible, effective evangelism, critical thinking, and open discussion. Professor and facilitator are expected to set an example in the academic process (2 Timothy 2:15).
To cultivate dynamic servant leaders who are Spirit-filled that serve Christ and the church with integrity and compassion to help others. The church is in desperate need of capable, motivated, and visionary leaders who can take care of the training of others for the ministry; these leaders must be able to inspire, multiply, and nurture God’s children to serve Him for world reconciliation and transformation.
To encourage the students to teach, preach, and share the good news of salvation and then assist the believers in growing and maturing in their faith. Hence, the mission is to be a conduit to the people where they can find forgiveness and reconciliation with God, as well as faith in Christ Jesus. Every Christian must participate in this mandate to witness and proclaim the gospel using their gifts and talents. The goal is to raise up disciples who are capable of discipling others in the spirit of the great commission.
Matthew 28:19-20
Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.
Mark 16:14-16
Later Jesus appeared to the Eleven as they were eating; he rebuked them for their lack of faith and their stubborn refusal to believe those who had seen him after he had risen. He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation. Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned.
Luke 24:46-49
He told them, “This is what is written: The Messiah will suffer and rise from the dead on the third day, and repentance for the forgiveness of sins will be preached in his name to all nations, beginning at Jerusalem. You are witnesses of these things. I am going to send you what my Father has promised; but stay in the city until you have been clothed with power from on high.”
John 20:19-23
On the evening of that first day of the week, when the disciples were together, with the doors locked for fear of the Jewish leaders, Jesus came and stood among them and said, “Peace be with you!” After he said this, he showed them his hands and side. The disciples were overjoyed when they saw the Lord. Again Jesus said, “Peace be with you! As the Father has sent me, I am sending you.” And with that he breathed on them and said, “Receive the Holy Spirit. If you forgive anyone’s sins, their sins are forgiven; if you do not forgive them, they are not forgiven.”
